For over 30 years, the unique technology partnership between car manufacturer Mazda and acoustics specialist Bose has been in place. Since then, some ingenious sound solutions have emerged from this collaboration: From the Acoustic Wave for the Mazda RX-7, to the TrueSpace signal processing for the Mazda MX-5, to the BassMatch Technology for the Mazda MX-30.
In the collaborative campaign 30 years | Mazda x Bose, trias documented the collaboration based on the technologies in the three cars and focused on the people on whose expertise all these creative innovations are based. During the international filming by various filming teams in Frankfurt (Germany), Hiroshima (Japan), Boston (USA) and California (USA), very different circumstances were filmed in the same style to ensure the compatibility of the material.
The result is a campaign consisting of five main films and ten social media clips - each in two designs and nine language versions - which emphasize the passion for cars and good sound in a combination of emotional interviews with the six protagonists and fantastic driving shots.
